I've said it on here before but I actually think his podcast is great, particularly the non football content. He is a good journalist

Agreed. Rarely listen to his football podcasts. Everything else by and large is extremely well curated.

The RTE panel with Dunphy worked based on a group dynamic that doesn't exist in other dunphy mediums.

At least Doyle and Fallon are a lot easier to listen to than him.

Wouldn't mind a Roy Keane & Brian Kerr on the same panel.

Sadlier needs to be balanced out with other pundits who have bubbly personalities.

I thought Fallon and Doyle were decent but my main complaint with them is the lack of interaction between them. They need not be best buddies or get into arguments but some interaction would be good and make the thing more entertaining.

'Obviously' is still the most superfluous word routinely and unthinkingly uttered by footballers. 'Listen' probably runs it a close second these days.

openly admitted on a number of occasions he hasn't a clue about the two teams.

That's f*cking disgraceful. Tax payers money paying for that clown to sit there and provide no insight, and there were lads on her complaining about women being on the panel. At least they've done their research and know what they are talking about, from what I have seen.

Better than spoofing along like the bould Eamonn would
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn

The commentary on this game on RTe is mind numbingly woeful.

The commentator didn’t even know what city the match was taking place in. Kept saying Budapest. The match was in Bucharest. Stealing a living.

Not uncommon you hear people mixing up Budapest and Bucharest to be fair
