I don't think Sky got rid of Alex Scott, she's just gone to do one of those dancing shows. She's also a fantastic pundit. Didn't see the RTE coverage last night but, while I don't think that every match has to have a female pundit, there's also no reason they can't be better than male pundits who may have played at a higher level.

They are miles and miles ahead of sky's coverage. Their panel discussions pre and post game have been embarrassing.

Souness couldn't believe how honest he could be when he started on RTE

It's a pity he didn't try that policy at Rangers. LOL

I have grown to like Souness, which I would have found unlikely a decade, or less, ago. His open reassessment of himself in relation to racism and homophobia has been brilliantly frank and important. Maybe he would reassess his views of Thatcher now too!

There should be no one on the panel unless they had 4 pints in the hour before going live and should do the gig in character - Sadlier as Johnny Vegas, Doyle as George Lee and Duff as Fudd...

That’s be Lisa Fallon. Who was excellent, and would know a lot more about football than you I’d say.

No disrespect to Lisa or Kevin Doyle or Sadlier etc but the panel was at a lot of times more enjoyable than the games themselves. Really hitting home how entertaining they were.

They were absolutely brilliant bill and the boys. Savage craic. You would watch the whole build up...half time and all the after match analysis. Its absolutely generic drivel now from RTE since they left. Aaaaag eamon you cant be saying that. Good old Bill Clap

And she knows who's actually playing. Dunphy sh*ting on during an Argentina game at the 2014 WC about a player called Lorezno for Argentina. No one of that name was in their squad.
