The one where McShane let Koller a yard to turn in to score?

Yep , that was the game . It was after that Cyprus match where the players were embarrassed to walk out of the hotel due to the sl*gging and general abuse. It was regarded as one of the Great debuts of Irish football in the papers.

If you listen to Christies interview on FAI TV he talks about his Irish relatives. Mentions that he thinks they are from some place called Kildare or something like that. Let's just say his geography on Ireland or knowledge of the country would not be too good. I like his honesty on this and his reasons for playing for us. No bulls**t or pretence from him, he is straight up. There was no onus on him to play for us yet he declared and choose us and once he gives it his all there is nothing more you can ask for.

Maybe contender for MOT 2nd half but did well overall and gives us more options.

Thought he was MOTM myself. Can he play anywhere else along the back? Unfortunately for him unless Coleman is injured, he hasn't a prayer of getting into the team at RB.

Was actually thinking with his size and power he might make a good CB as well. Hopefully he can operate all across the back four!

That's what Lee Carsley said in a recent article.

Sure his grandparents own Christies pub in Prosperous.

LOL

Why is no-one suggesting James McClean to play left back either?
