Yassine En-Neyah seems to have hit the ground running at Forest. Had a nasty injury last month but recovered and back playing for the U23s.

You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

Mark Travers on the bench for Bournemouth tonight in the League Cup.

It seems we’ve a few young keepers knocking on the door of decent teams at the moment. Hopefully one can make the breakthrough.

English-born. He'll defect to England if he turns out to be any good. O'Neill/Keane/Delaney will see to that.

Ryan Nolan captained Inter Milan in the UEFA Youth League again. Beyond bizarre that he never gets an Irish call up for the underage sides.

Although I agree it's patently absurd, it's what we have come to expect from our comedy football association. I wonder if any of these uncapped lads are having second thoughts about being managed by Woody Allen and his bitter bully of a sidekick.

It appears you must be playing in England to be considered for an Ireland cap unless you are an already established international player like Robbie and Doyler

How good is Inter's academy now? They are only in the Youth League because of the senior side and not exactly ripping it up. I admit there is a chance he should be in one of our underage squads, but it is all guesswork.

There's loads of LOI lads throughout the underage Irish international teams

Quite correct!!! I mis-spoke...I will change it to you must be playing locally ie Ireland/UK. I am sure there have been exceptions but rare enough. With the senior team though it is UK/Ireland only

For all the talk of accelerating call ups to the senior squad for eligibility purposes, the players I’d most like the see there are fully committed to us:

Lee O’Connor - a definite prospect. Can play across the back and in midfield. Quick and technically excellent
Adam Idah - big and strong. Could already be ready for men’s football
Tyreke Wilson - long term problem position for us at lb
Michael Obafemi - a type of player we don’t have. Smart in the box but also a big threat on the counter

Not even all that bothered about Cullen, but he’s almost certainly worth a look

Of all the names you have mentioned above I would be most likely to give Josh Cullen a call up sooner rather than later. He is the only one playing mens football and was been on the fringes of the West Ham first team.

The others are probably better prospects long term, but still too young and inexperienced to be given a senior cap at present I would say.

after seen Lee play 3 times and i don't rate him whatsoever. think he will leave united and end up in League 1 if lucky. incidentally in those games the only stand out player was Jayson Molumby of Brighton
