Anyone know why he's not in the U17 squad for todays game? I thought he played for us in the earlier qualifiers.

He has played for the 17's but he is only 15, so maybe didn't make the grade this time around, or could be carrying a knock or whatnot. Any number of valid reasons. He's one for the next campaign at that level. |

Well u17s and 19s were cancelled for over 2 years due to covid so hes one of many who haven't featured in some time due to that. Hes now too old for 19s and not good enough for the 21s at present. Needs to start playing first team football if he wants to get a look in next year, 19 turning 20 this summer he'll still be eligible for next u21 campaign.

I thought Giurgi was a striker or wide forward. Looks like he has transitioned to right full back for Norwich. That's how he appears on all Flashscore line ups.

Considering he could of played for England underage I'd imagine he will stick with us. His aul lad is a Dub so would be confident he will stick it out
