Looks like 19 year old Joel Bagan Cardiff is coming on board with us. Was due to line up with the under21 but injured himself at weekend

Really good to get a young player that plays at a good level declare for us. Interesting that he won't stick with Scotland as they have a better team but this is good news

Mostly due to Scotland having no shortage of LBs over the coming years with Aaron Hickey (18), Greg Taylor (23), Tierney (23) and Robertson (26) all ahead of him.

He'll fancy his chances against our potential LBs ie. Manning, Trevor Clarke, Darragh Leahy and Thomas O'Connor

Robertson and Tierney still have plenty mileage in them too.  26 & 23

Loves the Eire. Not his first love nor his second even.  But love all the same.

We're like that less attractive bird fellas settle down with, she not great but at least the other lads won't be trying to get the knickers offa her all the time.

It’s absolutely incredible isn’t it the week he announced this he picked up a proper injury.

Joshua Kayode also picked up a proper injury. I would find it hard to believe that even England with 20 times plus the playing pool are getting such a spate of injuries in such a short timeframe.

I’m sure they have injuries yes with their player pool. Randolph, Kelleher,Egan,Collins,Coleman,Connolly,McCarthy, McClean, Smallbone Obafemi Brady who’s just back. This lad Bagan if he’s with us is the latest. Look at Scottish and Welsh players injury list for context.

You would swear I was making this up. Kayode is a young lad flying for Carlisle. Only in League 2 yes but it just hits home they all seem to dropping at the moment. Hopefully some of these will come back for the end of March I suspect 4/5 of them certainly will.

He’d genuinely have a better chance to play for England than Scotland at left back the way it’s going. It’s genuinely the 8th wonder of the world how Scotland have 4 outstanding prospects at left back and potentially a 5th here yet have journeyman players playing for Championship clubs and Hearts/Motherwell as options for the other 3 positions. They play a midfielder in defence for context.

I wouldn't say Greg Taylor is that much of a prospect relative to the others but obviously having the other three (Robertson, Tierney and Hickey) means incredible depth in the position. 18 year old Doig at Hibs is another big prospect for them at left back.

Almost a waste really when you see their options at centre back, right back and up front. Not much depth in the GK position either. Anyway hopefully Bagan has more reasons than just that for throwing his lot in with us.
