As I have said before I think Nathan Collins is far better player then Conor Masterson ever will be even being 2/3 years younger

Coventry started for Lincoln, with Elbouzedi on the bench, while Conor Ronan starts his Blackpool career tonight.
Interesting times there and I really hope he excels...

Joshua Kayode scored his first goal for Carlisle tonight.

Sean McGinty departs Partick Thistle ( bottom of Scottish Championship ) to sign for Morton ( fourth bottom ) until the end of the season . Like the now retired Joe O'Cearuill , once of Arsenal , McGinty looked a genuine prospect when at Manchester United and starring for Ireland at under-21 level . The slide down the leagues has been similarly relentless .

Ryan Nolan signs for another Serie C team on loan while Caoimhin Fowler signs for a team in Dutch 3rd tier.

Not a good sign for both players but could still work there way up, hopefully they can both get regular game time and see where it takes them.

Anthony Scully has joined Lincoln on a permanent transfer from West Ham

Anthony Scully signs for Lincoln city. Somewhat surprising given his scoring exploits.

Seems a little strange with Scully, 18 month permanent deal for a player that hasnt really found scoring difficult and even notched a player of the month award.

West ham seemed ok to let him go rather than a loan and our u21s seem reluctant to give him a chance.

Cant help thinking (complete conspiracy theory) that he might be a bit difficult to work with.

Lincoln City has plenty of good Irish talent on there books now, great to see hope they kick on, most surprising thing for me was that Scully has a Dublin accent thought he was born and raised in England.

Surprised at the accent myself ( interview on You Tube ) , thought he'd have Cockney as a first language . He'll know Conor Coventry well obviously , also Zach Elbouzedi , Cian Bolger is there too and I think Lee Frecklington also . The club did advertise last year for an Irish language tutor for Irish lads coming over , to help them with their Leaving Certificates . Hope young Scully and the others do well and help Lincoln progress .

Must have gone home at some point. Good move for him. West Ham is a sh*tshow. Could be playing against them in the championship soon enough
You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

I've come across few lads in Manchester with Irish accents, only time they spent in Ireland was during school holidays

Peculiar alright. I've come across a few people who genuinely have two "accents" depending on who they're talking to; maybe that's his shtick too.
