uk was never a country it was a kingdom. Created to bring the nations of England and Scotland together. The united kingdom is therefore not a country just an act of an agreement to bring two countries together. These are facts. I only consider England as my country  and I only support England in sporting events

U15s are 2-0 up against England at half time.

They've had a couple of decent results recently so maybe we have another decent batch coming through?

Anyone have any insight?

That age level is a bit of a red herring and is impossible to highlight talent and is pretty much a stepping g stone to next level.

U19 is difficult enough to flag a players potential level but at least the best few can potentially get first team involvement.

Bit of an underwhelming move, hopefully a stepping stone to better things. Are Waterford due compensation for the lad?

Doubt it, he was out of contract. Serious problems out there at the moment.

Rumours that one or two of the ‘dual nationality’ players on our u19s are not happy with the current state of affairs with the FAI. Talk of them jumping ship. One of them can pick from 4 nations.

Which U-19's would these be? If they genuinely are thinking of leaving, then it likely would have happened anyway and this is pure opportunism on their part to deflect any backlash.
We're decent enough..

This cant be a surprise when you see England's underage setup  for example most likely getting better facilities and transport arrangements than our senior set up.

I believe one of our underage team needed to get 3 or 4 connection flights to take part in a tournament

Eventually if you want to play for ireland You'll need to pay for your own kit.

I wont name names but they are obviously of African heritage as they can not only declare for Nigeria etc but also England.

Okoflex would be very foolish to switch now as who knows how is career will pan out, so id take these reports with a pinch of salt, plus isnt it known he actually only spent 4 years in England a year less than required.

These rumours are the kind of nonsense just made up to generate antipathy as expressed in that response.
Job done.

Anyone playing underage for Ireland would be very foolish to jump ship in my opinion, potential golden generation and all that, these lads loyality should be tested in the next nations league, be willing to play or pfo and let us stop developing players for other nationalities and our own players expense.

If Grealish had declared for us he be on about 25 caps for us by now, surely that would make him more valuable on the transfer market than someone who has not really played international football. This must be drummed into these young lads.

A player would be worth more in the market as an uncapped England player than he would be as a 25 cap Irish international.
