Roightt....i've to give a DJ a list of ~ 20 songs i want played at my wedding so he has an idea of what to play. I know we have a quality tune thread but the slow set cant go on forever.
I dont want x-factor sh*te,come on eileen, abba, rhianna and all that bollo*.
So any recommendations? Anthems preferabbly and a few ballads for the last few.
I'll get him to end the night with Raglan Road
Thanks

For last song of the night on my wedding I announced on the mic that we were to all stand for the national anthem. The usual happened, some stood up, some gave out but then I had the d.j. belt out "Put em under pressure" The place erupted. Grannies were up on chairs dancing and all. Best song ever to get a place going. |

Haha Houghtn, now there's an idea!!
Ok i dont wanna sidetrack the thread but was at a bash over xmas and the dj did the anthem which was grand...as usual i belted it out and gave the cmon ireland shout at the end of it. Now, some little group of cnuts in the corner kept the singsong going, with their chests out, hand on heart singing Irelands call. I nearly leapt over two tables to tell them to shut the fcuk up!!!
Anyway, put em under pressure after Raglan Road,...good man Houghton
