I'm not usually a liqueur man but I had a glass of the Dubliners whiskey liqueur in a  Sunderland pub last night and it was  quality.

Find it hard to get into any stout other than Guinness and a good pint of Beamish. Not a great fan of the craft beer stouts tbh.

Nitro stout from the White Hag brewery in Sligo is delicious stuff. So smooth.

Guinness will never allow any new stout to get a foothold in the market. Have heard of pubs trying to get in other stout and told they will pull other products unless the pub gets rid. They pretty much have a monopoly.

Thought the Dublin Porter with the blue label was lovely when I had it a good few years ago in T2 but haven’t seen it anywhere since.

In an exciting new collaboration for the EFL, Jameson Irish whiskey has been unveiled as an Official Partner of the EFL for the 2023/24 season.

Jameson’s four-season deal will see the whiskey giant highlight its commitment to football across the EFL’s three divisions until the end of the 2026/27 season.

The partnership with EFL is Jameson’s first foray into English professional football and builds on the brand’s work within the grassroots football space following its ongoing nationwide sponsorship of the biggest small-side pitch provider in the UK, Powerleague.

As an Official Partner of the EFL, Jameson will have a strong presence with all 72 Member Clubs across the Sky Bet Championship, League One and League Two, along with the EFL’s five Wembley finals. Additionally, the brand will have a presence on the EFL website, digital and social media channels.

I'm not a huge fan of Wetherspoons but I see their breakfast menu included sausages from Loughnane's of Galway.

That must be some contract for the Galway company.
