Think the first goal in this match is very important because if greece score first i think they will be able to keep costa rica out

Yeah agree with Irwin, this one will go further than 90mns. Could make an argument for either teams to win.

Hatf to think that one of these will actually make it to the Quarter final stages of the World Cup.
Hope it's Costa Rica. They have really earned a great deal of respect these last 2 weeks fo their performances against Uruguay, Italy and England.

I was in Costa Rica actually in January, and the people their expected to be out in the first round. This is to them what Italia 90 was for us in a way. Their moment to shine.

Greece have been jammy in qualifying for this tournament, and jammy with the group draw. On top of that they were brutal the first 2 games, and lucky last night. Combine that with the fact that they have already been able to celebrate an unreal achievement in the past, I'm hoping this will be one for the Costa Ricans to celebrate!

You would be a rich man if you predicted this tie when the groups were initially drawn! I was dissapointed to see Ivory Coast knocked out but at the same time the late drama and randomness just summed up how brilliant this WC has been so far.

Would love to see Costa Rica make it to the Q/F as they have played without fear against three of the biggest teams in world football and remained unbeaten! Greece are generally tough to like but in fairness they came out against IC and showed they can attack well when they want to.

It's also happy days for the Dutch though you'd have to say - only Mexico/Greece/Costa Rica standing between them and a semi-final spot now.

Absolutely. The road to the semi's looks a lot more do-able than the one Chile now have.
That's why it was so important to win the group.

But let's not count our chickens before they've hatched. The smaller nations/underdogs are often the toughest to play against.

This us the dream tie we all wanted to see. Greece to win for me. They have a habit of grinding out results against teams around their level. 1-0 I reckon.

I think there is more left in the drug free Costa Rican squad.

I hope they can nick this one. Greece did well to get through, but i'm not sure how they will cope with teh commitment of the CR's.

you didn't watch the second half of last nights game then? Brilliant counter attacking football from Greece. They only hit the woodwork three times.

True, missed last nights game but seen their first two.... brutal football and very sore on the eyes.

For some reason I thought the winner of this was playing Brazil????

Then either one would have had a chance making semi-final!
