I think England will qualify along with Italy, regardless of tonight's result.
I certainly ament confident to be making a bet or anything, just that's my gut for a while now. |

Italy to have most of the ball and try and wear England down and sneak a goal,if England score 1st i doubt Italy will claw them back,or maybe Balotelli will just have one of those games.

Think Uruguay are using their noggins with Suarez and if Costa Rica are anything like Ireland found out then it's a wise decision indeed. Look at what happened with Costa coming back too soon in the CL final.
Uruguay should be grateful their fixtures fell the way they did, their 2 toughest are after this. By the way this is proving to be brilliant thus far, 4 entertaining high scoring games, considering the Mexicans scored 3! Hopefully it continues. The Dutch will have caught the attention of the world yesterday, here's to more of it! |

From sun newspaper, or dog and duck in london. Aspirations rising here in london, a week ago they had no chance, yesterday pundits claiming gerrard was better than pirlo, and sterling is maradona, nearly 50 years of hurt over.....its coming home |

A the Gerrard jibe was always going to come.
Have a look at his stats last year packie, sl*gging the lad off is unfair. And I'd say that whoever he played for. Different players also. Hard to believe welbeck is going to start. He's not at this level, nowhere near. |

Reckon England Italy wiil be a draw .I would leave Sterling on the bench and bring him on around 65 mins his pace will cause serious trouble especially against lads who have played an hour in those conditions.

De sciglio is also a big loss for them and they will probably have to move Chellini out of CB as a replacement.Thats 3 of Italy's first choice missing tonight when you include Montolivo. Edited by rossieman - 14 Jun 2014 at 4:55pm |

As a member of the YBIG Raheem Sterling fan club, I feel his clutchness makes him a must to start.
As a member of the YBIG Anti-Wayne Rooney society, I think he should be benched because he's a sh*thouse. |

I have a feeling it could be Rooneys night he is under presure for first time for his place might just spark him , think England's bench could also win it tonight Barcley and Sterling in last 20mins could be lethal

1-1 england despite the latent optimism. An average squad, its big boys football, pace alone is no good.
