A straightorward victory for Argentina, I would imagine. Bosnia and Nigeria duelling for second where you would have to fancy the Bosnia n's attacking players to get them through. Dzeko has been vastly underrated by many but expect him to shine here. Know very little about Iran so I hope I am not wrong to dismiss them out of hand

I think even Newcastle fans would agree but when your main strikeforce consists of Shola Ameobi you aint getting far.

Nigeria in so much trouble - Joseph Yobo had that much bad of a game against USA he ended up trending on Twitter for it.
The fact he got bullied by Jozy Altidore imagine what it'd be like against Argentina or Dzeko

Nigeria looked poor against the States last night. Think Bosnia will easily get second spot in the group.

I don't think it'll be that easy as the heat will probably suit Nigeria more. I hope Bosnia do well |

Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

I think there's way too much emphasis being put on the heat. In Mexico '86, three of the four semi finalists were European teams. Will the heat be any worse in Brazil than it was in Mexico?

But just because they got to the semi finals doesn't mean it's not an advantage for the Central and South American teams. England failed to beat a poor enough team Honduras but if that match was played in a similar climate to England, they'd have beaten them comfortably. Hoddle made the point how you cannot keep a fast tempo in attacking wise in this heat. It has to be in bursts. Look how Ireland were dead on their feet against Mexico in Orlando so there is no doubt the European sides will be at a slight disadvantage at least when playing in an equatorial climate |

Africa had poor sides then and so did as is basically the world cup was between Brazil Argentina and the European sides. Uruguay were filth bags at that tournament and were never going to get to last four. Mexico should have done better but were poor. So France beating Brazil on penalties in the quarters would have had half and half in semis, Different times now. More African and Asian teams that cwn cause problems and Chile and Uruguay can cause problems. |

There may be a slight advantage because of climate but it cannot make up for a gulf in class. These are all trained and conditioned professionals anyway.
I'm not convinced England would have beaten Honduras in a different climate either. They played Algeria in the last World Cup and drew 0-0 with them. I'd say Algeria and Honduras are of a similar standard. They've a habit of getting results like that. |

Sorry that's what I mean't but even though European teams like Spain,Portugal, Italy etc etc play in more heat then Germany, Holland, England, they'll still struggle imo with the humidity of that climate in comparison with the Central/Sth American countries. |
