When West Ham made it 2-2 today against Southampton, if the reporter on sky sports news had said - “it’s Desmond, Jeff”, would he have to apologize or even be sacked?

While I'm on the subject of films why is it that in films computer systems make these futuristic noises, are seamlessly quick and never freeze or have some technical difficulties such as dodgy wifi or some pop up warning such as ''there is a windows update available.  Install now?''  'Yes'

Why is the 6 o'clock rte news on for 1 hour some days then 30mins the next?  Seems to be no rhyme nor reason for it Jeff.


Why do you never hear of the Green Glens Arena in Millstreet anymore?

When a premier league manager gets covid and has to watch the match at home, do they just watch the BT or Sky coverage or have they got another screen or view to see more of the pitch/shape of the team etc. 
Also, if the game isn't televised do they have to get it on a dodgy stream?

Is it not normally an hour for most of the year but shortens to 30 min during the summer and other holidays when the Dail isn't sitting?

Not sure squire.

But I've noticed on a few occasions it would be 1 hour one day and the very next day be 30 mins and they use an episode of Reeling in the Years as filler

Is it not during the Christmas and summer periods they reduce the length of news I.e when the Dail is not open for business, as much of the news is covering Irish politics.  Think it’s pretty straightforward to be honest and thought it was obvious. 

Just saw sausy posted the same and he is correct.

Was back in the big smoke there recently.  I noticed they have changed all the bus stops and gotten rid of the Dublin Bus logo from them.

I understand it’s for drainage purposes, but surely running up a slope to kick a corner is going to have a negative impact on the quality of the delivery

I always wonder about that too. Players get awful stick for sh*t corners but half the clubs have a hill beside the corner flag Ouch
