Cans are bigger in America than cans in EIRE.

So are hoops.

Just on this. Back home we have the standard stubby 330ml cans, but in other countries you only see the taller, slimmer cans instead.
Stubbys are gone Thumbs Down

Didn't realise that. The newer cans are nowhere near as nice.

Anyone remember Supercans. 500ml cans before they brought in the bottles of same size. That was probably a good move for once. Drink would be nearly flat unless you drank it quick enough

Dont like 500ml bottles compared to cans.  Cold metal is much nicer to drink from than plastic especially on a hot day and it has condensation on the outside of the can.

America is a mad country. Over there in the hotel one morning at 7.30am having brekkie and this huge fat lad sits down near me.  He was having a gigantic styrofoam cup filled with coke and sucking out of it with a straw.  It was one of those super duper sized cups.  Probably a litre of coke at least.  Also part of his health conscious breakfast was a load of danish pastries and waffles with tonnes of syrup.

My snooker hall has warped cues on the walls.  Like cueing a banana.

The Phoenix magazine, does anybody still buy this? Can't say i've ever seen anybody with a copy since the 90s yet it's still going.

I've certainly bought copies in the recent past. Bit of a hack mag, but I've always found it an enjoyable read.

I'd like to see a revival of Magill though.

Those celebrity ones are slightly fixed I believe

The Chasers would never get some of those questions wrong on your Monday to Friday shows
