Really??

Can be bad in areas. Thankfully my house isnt the worst but every now and then we have to descale the shower head with all the limescale and grit that gathers as the pressure is crap.

What is water hardness?

Hardness is determined by the level of naturally occurring calcium and magnesium compounds a water contains.

  • Water with a high calcium and magnesium content are considered to be hard, and those waters with a low content are considered to be soft.
  • Water in Dublin City is rated as soft. The exceptions are some areas along the northside of the City, which are fed from Leixlip Water Treatment Plant.
  • Hard water is found in areas which have a chalk and limestone geology.
  • As water passes through the rock it picks up chalk carbonates, the concentrations of which will determine the level of hardness.

Might need to add a week, will take a good few days to paint the grass Wink

I'm about 6 months from having the deposit ready for an apartment.

Any advice re bank transactions that a bank may frown upon when applying for a mortgage?

Any betting accounts may be investigated if spending substantially

Friend of mine also had to prove they werent pregnant as they had bought something in mothercare for a friend of theirs

Also any large cash transactions, they questioned the sale of my car and the purchase of a new one for cash

They want a sure thing. If your income and expenditure is erratic they will question it. Just try to be as predictable as possible.

You'll need plenty of paint for the grass so.

It's a lovely feeling being able to walk into your own house and close the door behind you. You'll have a great Easter.
