If they ever brought a ppv to Dublin it would be just as bad. Can't see myself being arsed ever attending a UFC event these days.

Great performance by Rodriguez, those kicks he was landing were vicious.

It’s rare someone’s stock rises after losing by UD but that was a great performance by Volkanovski. Weirdly enough, both fighters were better in the areas that was meant to be the strong point of the other.

Volk is still P4P #1. Talk that Islam used an IV drip. If so it calls that decision into disrepute.

I doubt there is much in that, Hooker is Volkanovski's team mate. But Volkanovski is most certainly P4P

Will Beneil Dariush be the next Tony Ferguson? Wins about 10 fights in a row including many top contenders but they delay his title shot so long he eventually leaves his prime loses and they never give him it?

The good news is he doesn't regularly get into bloodbath scraps like Ferguson so hopefully more longevity.

He's booked against Oliveira for April I think. This is realistically last chance saloon for him, I can't see him making 155lb for much longer

Yea they are coaching on the ultimate fighter but its about 6 months off at this stage. He still isn't in the USADA testing pool so thats at least 6 months of clean tests before he can fight, or they throw a load of money at the commission to get him an exemption.

Not so sure. Both kind of have glass jaws recently so it will be about who catches who first.
Would put chandler as favourite though. Mcgregor is about 7 years off his peak.

Chandler 2 year's ago would have smoked this past prime McGregor but he's getting Chinny and prone to gassing out. However if he catches McGregor with his first round bombs it's goodnight.

He was a little with the mcgregor/ vince mcmahon strut.
I dont think he will go to the top.

Decent enough card overall. 1 or 2 shocks.

Minor league stuff compared to some of his antics. He'll get a fine awakening waving his chin around against anyone competent

Ian Garry should take things very slow and not fast track his run. If ends up breaking into the top 10 that will be a fine achievement and a proud sporting Day for Ireland. Can't see him ever getting the belt or even top 5.
