Bookies have 1-1 as the lowest priced bet, often the most popular result in evenly matched friendlies.
It's what my little wager will be on.

mmm some decent results there...are they in pot 3? If so I would take Poland every day of the week over them

They lost in a shock result to Macedonia in the qualifiers. Had they won this game they would have finished ahead of Croatia for 2nd place in their group.

I cannot see Serbia not scoring, I hope I am wrong but i'd be happy with a draw 2-2 for abit of excitement.  If M'ON is going to experiment then we may have to accept a loss to blood the players.  Remember it took Mick a half a dozen games to get a result and his teams and style didn't turn out too badly.

Just heard there Ward is expected to start..if that's the case we will certainly give up a goal or two...very disappointing that this guy is even in the squad but to start him is unforgivable....would presume MON didn't run that past Roy.

Where did you hear Ward will start?

The Irish Times reporting yesterday that Whelan will captain the side in Keane's and O'Shea's absence

That won't go down too well amongst certain posters here.

News report on today fm said that Ward was in line to start...hope it's wrong because the guy isn't any where near the level required to play at this level..would rather Cunningham at that rate..at least he is a natural defender...Ward is a striker lets not forget and gets caught out time and time again.

Yeah...I agree, just pointing out he would at least be comfortable in the postion..I don't like having a pop at players but Ward if used will cost us points.
Would rather Wilson or Clark at LB tonight....Wilson for me is our only long term option there with what we have available...Joey O Brein would be his back up(IF fit).
