Disaster that. Any luck?

Compensation at least as over 3 hours
Aye, compo definitely. Put us up in hotel and fed us, but long frigging day and first flight out at 6.20am in morning

What hotel ? We sorted ourselves out as our Dublin flight was a different booking only £45 but shoukd be able to claim it back  on top of the standard compo

Also hadn’t realised until the saint told us that as it’s over 1500 km it mid range compo not short hall

I have a Ryanair flight back later

Renaissance Hotel. I was booked through and back with BA. Woman I sat beside on plane says it'll be in region of 400 euro, she was also affected by the balls up. Will pay for bulk of the trip but I'd rather not have had the hassle, tbh

Someone mentioned earlier that there's currency exchange at the boarder with decent rates. A good few places in gib will also take euro.

Not a whole lot in la linea
