Suarez is due a performance, he's been a bit off the boil of late. 3-1 to Liverpool, Suarez hat-trick, with Toure messing up again letting Arsenal in for a consolation.

Thought it was a decent game. Liverpool should have had a second penalty and Gerrard should have got a second yellow.

That Sanago lad looks decent, great shout by Wenger throwing him in, Oxlade is a badly needed player for them, the only one with that burst of pace, he is a cert for the World Cup IMO.

He's also pretty strong, even when he first burst onto the scene. Both teams are very good to watch

Freak results usually only happen thanks to things you cant legislate for. And true to form crooked referee no.1 comes up with the goods.

Pity the double is out of reach for this season.

Yeah it's not like Gerrard should have been sent off is it

Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn

The peno was stone wall and the defining point in the game. We all know what Webb is like. Its not surprising to say the least.

Anyway, good to see the knockers out again today. Roll on next SundayClap

I thought Liverpool played very well today and deserved at least a draw.

Suarez hitting a dry patch too.

He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.
