I have several Scotland tickets available on Saturday. No charge either. Just approach me in the bar. I have a strong Offaly accent and will most likely be enjoying some Garth Brooks and thinking about how attractive my cousins are.

The man used a high profile event to raise publicity for his business, most people had probably never heard of the place before the "Oops" statement.
 
It was a case of someone using their initiative and thinking outside the box, in the long run it has done his business no harm, I pass by it going to work and it always seems to be busy.
 
Its not his fault people were gullible enough to fall for it.

Ah but he didn't lie though. Clearly you need to read or re-read. He was informed by a previously reliable source and as a businessman, he moved to get the jump on competitors. As soon as he realised, he was honest and fronted it out. He then turned the abuse from idiots, some who even abused his staff who were clueless as to what was happening,  to his advantage and fair play to him. As time moved on, the sane majority became aware and slowly at first, then in huge numbers they liked' and commented in support. 

Can you honestly say in your entire life since being able to speak, that you have never been told something, passed it on, only later to find out it was incorrect and had to back track or been left red faced by it? Are you seriously whiter than white in this regard? 

Again, fair play to him, he took on the keyboard warriors and won. ClapClap
