Lovely gesture.

Co Donegal football team Finn Harps have announced a fundraising drive for the victims of the Creeslough tragedy during their upcoming fixture against Dundalk FC on Friday.

The team posted on social media confirming their evening fixture at Finn Park will include money raised through programme sales and other monetary donations will also be collected.

The programmes – which have a special memorial cover – will raise money for the fund established to help the victims and families of those affected.

The programme cover is simple but very effective.

Can't see us winning tomorrow. Just hope UCD don't either!

Ollie Horgan's nine-year stint as Finn Harps manager is over after he departed the club by mutual consent today.

Ah it had gotten very stale. This season was pathetic. Season before we stayed up on last day with our best squad in 20 years after we completely fell apart mid season. Think it's the right decision all round. He will forever be considered a legend in FP. Promotion in 2015 is still my favourite ever footballing memory! We were in the doldrums before he took over. We need to be careful we don't slip back there now. Thanks for the memories Ollie

No idea tbh. Might be someone leftfield like Ollie. McGuinness is being mentioned but unsure whether it's true. If it is I wouldn't mind too much. He definitely would get people through the turnstiles and I would imagine be a good motivator to what is likely be mostly a local squad. The lack of success in his football career to date is a worry though. My guess is it will be Declan Boyle or Gavin Cullen

Was listening to gavin Cullen last night on the radio and he ruled himself out as has young family etc. Boyle will be interested I'd say a lot wanted him when Ollie got the job. have heard all the mcguiness rumours as well but really can't see it harps wouldn't have the kind of budget he be looking for imo
