She has no idea where the 400,000 went, but everyone agrees it's gone?

Sorry now, in what way is this "tragic"? Tea leaves fleeing a burglary and car crashes and they died, I'd say that's karma.

18, 19 year old with baby on the way - of course it's tragic, no matter the circumstances, you don't deserve to have your life ended for committing a burglary or for committing the offence of being due to be born by a woman committing a burglary.

Ask the victims of the burglary how they feel. The bastards who robbed my car and my gaff 3 years ago (it's sad for the unborn baby yes, didn't deserve that, but then again the baby didn't deserve scumbag parents either), I'd gladly have watched them crash into a wall with my property. May God mind the innocent baby.

Two people, newly married, under the age of 20, expecting their first child, have died. That is always tragic, regardless of the circumstances. Any time any person dies in any interaction with the police or any arm of the state, there needs to be an investigation to make sure everything was done right (or at the very least that nothing was done wrong) and, most importantly, to see if there are any lessons that can be learned to avoid unnecessary repeats. I'm not suggesting one way or the other that the couple who died were in the right or wrong or that the police did anything right or wrong but I'd ask if you feel at least a pang of sympathy for their family, especially when she was heavily pregnant. Whether they were guilty of burglary or not won't change a single thing; whether the police were in the right or wrong in the actions they took (we don't know) may well stop this sort of thing happening again. Just to give an example: if you get a number plate off a car, ID the driver and know exactly where he lives and that you are very likely going to be able to pick him up at home in the very near future, there is no harm in letting him drive off then picking him up a day or two later. That is significantly safer than engaging in a high speed pursuit, particularly if you don't know who else, potentially blameless or otherwise, is in the car, especially when you are also endangering members of the public by engaging in a pursuit. Very often, the safest option is to let the car drive off and pick up the driver later. In a vast country like America, with an unidentified suspect, pursuit may be the best hope of catching a criminal suspect but here and in the UK, much smaller places, and especially if you have a way of IDing the suspect, it is less often the best option.

Why such venomous anger? That's not healthy. I've been the victim of burglary, I'd have no wish for the people committing it to die. May God mind the baby? What would God say about you wanting people to die? Very hypocritical.

Nobody knows the full story, why they felt the need to rob, how desperate they may have been or anything else, but let's all take a moment to celebrate their deaths.
Thank f**k society is progressing...

You're damn right I'm angry. They're fleeing after robbing some gaff, I don't care what their circumstances are. Society is pussyfooting around and making excuses for these scumbags too much.
If you rob someone's gaff, you're scum. If you then flee and crash tough. I call it karma and that's how I feel. I take back reference to God minding the baby as I'm increasingly disbelieving of a God existing. Tragic for the baby, yes. Tragic for the parents, no.
