Caden has been playing very well for the reserves.

He was born here to Latvian parents who moved to Britain before he could talk. He's shown no interest in playing for us and doesn't consider himself Irish any more than Joe Strummer considers himself Turkish.

I read somewhere that he had said he was open to playing for England, Ireland or Latvia in the future although he has only represented England underage so far.

Said it on his Instagram last year. If I recall someone asked out Latvia and he was the one to bring up Ireland himself.

Hard to show interest an if he wasn't asked or approached.

Transfermarkt has Caden Kelly down as being born in Buncrana, Donegal.

Said on telly just now he would love to get back into management. Even forced out a smile too so I'd say he's off.

Looking at the League 1 table, it looks like auto promotion is out of reach, so don't think Roy is a playoff winning manager tbh. Might have to wait till next season to judge him

Are you looking at the right table? 5 points of top. No guarantee other teams will just win their games in hand.

It's all gone a bit quiet.

I don't think he's going to be the next manager.

Something on Facebook about him taking the Sunderland job on an eighteen month contract with Andy Reid as his assistant manager. No idea if this is accurate or not.

Andy Reid? Have Keane and Andy every had any real association with one another? Apart from playing but i wouldn't have thought Keane wud be bringing him in as assistant.

Was Keane his manager when Reid was at Sunderland?

For all the merriment aimed at Reid because of his figure, he's supposed to be a decent coach by all accounts.

If Robbie can get a job as an assistant manager in the Championship, then there's no reason why Andy can't in a lower division.

Looks like this is now dead in the water. Negotiations earlier this week but nothing came of them. From twitter it seems a lot of the fanbase were behind appointing him

Sunderland was his best bet to get back into management with his history. Rightly or wrongly i can't really see any other club willing to take him on.
