Going to the Awards bash is obviously the start of a slow and cringe inducing process of the MON/RK trying to get their credibility back. It is in tatters right now though. They must be mortified with how this has played out for them. Serves them right.

i agree to a point but it depends who's fault it is that the contract hasnt been signed, if the FAI have signed it and it is with him and he has refused then its bad form but if the FAI havnt bothered getting the contract together then its natural for him to wonder why and look for other jobs. In an ideal worls they'd be talking to each other but with the FAI i wouldnt be surprised if they hadnt spoke to MON about this at all and never will. Technically we have no manager at the moment. |

If the fai did offer him a contract which he hasn't signed, they should withdraw it now.
They won't though. |

So since November has no one been out watching any Irish players in action for their clubs. Has MON & Roy been getting paid all this time for nothing?

As you'll all know, PNE have a load of ROI players on their books. Mind you, there was already early speculation about Warburton's position at the time, which was confirmed when he was sacked by Forest a few days later...

If Southampton lose another game or two, then they'll be on the look out for a new manager, so that'll be O'Neill's final possibility of getting a Premier League team.
And with the older experienced managers all getting hiredto save team from relegation, Southampton might come knocking. Coming very close to been hired by Stoke, wouldn't do his profile any harm either

Sums us up if he continues.
His tenure came to a natural end after Denmark. He is actively trying to manage elsewhere. Nobody of his preferred stature wants him. He will take his free money with us. This is going to be worse than the 2014 campaign. |
