Segment in drive time on Irish/ northern Irish identity sounded interesting but couldn’t listen to it

More or less the same for our beloved Keano. Irish. Cranky. Loves Cork, not Dublin. Chip over everything. Glass jaw - dishes it but can't take it.

There's 80% on here who dish but can't take.

They were well met - two utter bellends.

Gary Cahill retired today. Reminded me of when O'Neill was at Villa and sold him to Bolton for 4m pounds, then replaced him with Zat Knight.

Bull imo

He's just pandering to say Oh it wasn't my fault.

Truth be told I'd say both lads at the time would have been happy to play if selected

I honestly don't believe either would have accepted a full cap.

MON pedalling his own agenda. Rice was on bench for a competitive game. Of course he would have come on

Saw the interview and thought he was absolutely bluffing.  Rice imo would have played before Southgate came calling.  Grealish not so much.

Had we qualified for the WC in 2018, Rice would be holding the Irish midfield. If England had lost on penalties to Colombia in the Second Round in Russia, Rice would probably be holding tour midfield.

Apologies he was in the squad but not on bench. Hardly accepted a call

So, he was never named on a competitive bench and I imagine the reason was he made it clear at that point that he didn't want to be called up.

By the way, it's possible to believe that Rice and Grealish had no intention towards the end of every playing a competitive senior game whilst also wondering how much of an effort O'Neill made to convince them.

Yep that's one of the biggest myths going he wasn't.

I agree with Hetfield, if we had of qualified for the WC he would have probably played for us (though knowing MON and his selections he probably wouldn't have picked him) if England hadn't got to the Semi Final of the WC he wouldn't have played for England either.
