Hi U Wally.  No sign of you today.  Forest doing well.  Dropping steadily down the table under the expertise of Radioactive Man and Fallout Boy. Please come back on.
They are in the same league position now as when Karanka left.

Oh crontraire Rodney, oh crontraire.  Karanka left them in 7th.  They are now 9th.

Apologies, I meant to say that when MON took them over they were ninth as they lost their one game under Simon Ireland.
Either way, it is disingenuous to say they are "dropping steadily down the table". You can argue that they aren't making progress, or that they should have kept Karanka, but that is a different matter.

No their performance stats are declining alarmingly.   Down 13 % in possession, so far they are making 100 less passes per game, down over 10 % in passing accuracy and some other areas.  Some achievement given that he's been there only 2 months now.  They put in a spirited performance against Derby but there wasn't much quality.  Same as his EIRE days.  The odd good result when the lads are psyched up to the eyeballs, then mostly dull, drab downright poor performances and awful football for the majority.  He is a one trick pony.  Motivation.  No tactics, no football.  When the lads aren't ultra hyped up he has nothing to fall back on.

His game plans are crude and old hat.  Send the team out to rough up the opposition playing industrious direct football.   It's not 1995.  Rough up Johnny Foreigner and he will implode.

4 of the teams out of the 8 above them have a game in hand on Forest as well.

The Championship isn't the most sophisticated division but I still struggle to see them improving without a good number 2. Keane was a mistake.

All that may well be true, although it is subjective and implies a xenophobia I am unaware of, what isn't true, at least not yet, is that they are dropping down the table under him, although I am not sure the Forest owner will be happy at the lack of any movement in league placings at all.

You have said that you're not that interested in English football. And Like many people will watch some games of the Premier League and follow it. I doubt you have any interest in the Championship, so you are now delving into Forest's stats and games following O'Neill's results to prove what exactly?

This is called obsessive behaviour (ok it's on the lower level of things) but it's worrying.

He's no longer the manager of Ireland. Move On

Well April  is here, and he has his team losing to relegation threatened Ipswich and Rotherham. As well as Villa and Stoke. The shine of their great  night against Derby has long since worn off, and as for the football itself, it's going down as you would expect.

It's 20 years since they were relegated. Just as he only needed to finish third in the Euro qualifiers, and in France to be handed a new contract, he only needs to finish 6th to have a successful season. He is 5 points short with 7 games to go.

Young Doherty has disclosed some of the phone call when MON rang him after the radio interview.

MON called him a t**ser a few timesLOL

And to think MON was to be the master motivator.

Nearly everything you hear about MON screams 'old school'. And often not in a good way. From the limited tactics to the sneering at players wearing gloves - the game has passed him by really by all accounts.

Sounds like he actually found it a traumatic experience.

He's a great lad for airing the dirty laundry in public.Maybe he'll learn when he grows up and starts wearing long pants.

He doesn't seem to have a great rapport with Mick either, who probably regards him as some kind of grass who's not to be trusted.

Better to come up with stuff like this after you've retired, like Walters has about Roy Keane

In as much as doherty should have known better I think MON (only from what has been said) is some piece of work that thinks because he is manager he has every right to verbally abuse the players.

Maybe if he was a little more self aware these situations would not have happened in the first place.
