ITV4 showing the whole of Euro 96 again.
England vs Switzerland at the moment, the opening match. England had a good first half, but they've really gone off the boil in this second half, arguably their poorest 45 minutes in the whole tournament.

Ah shame. I live up North though so will be watching some of the other games. Didn't really think it was all that great of a tournament, 2.08 goals per game is the lowest for any tournament since 1980, even lower than both WC 1990 and 2010. Euro 2000 was a much better tournament, would've rather watched that.

Euro '96 was quite mediocre overall with a lot of teams setting out to avoid losing but there were still some decent games. As you say, Euro 2000 was much better generally but for some reason, I can't think why ITV aren't covering a tournament in which England were knocked out in the group stage...
