with UPC, if you currently have Setanta Ireland and the ESPN channels (Not setanta sports) do you get this?

That's it decided, I'm not arsed getting BT Sports. The folks have it at home in the north cos of the freeness of it, so I reckon I'll just conveniently be at home whenever United are playing on BT sports. I've no real interest in most of the other games, tbh.
