Just seen this and the only thing which stood out for me is how outrageously skinny he is. LOL

He could do with a few gym sessions and a few Big Macs. Jaysus I've seen dogs on the street with more meat on than him.

The thing that stood out for me is that he could do with tidying up the pubes a bit

And, in fairness to Kane, Shearer had a few seasons to acclimatise to top flight football, and Aguero and Henry transferred in from other countries. Shearer had 23 in 118 First Division appearances before that, so Kane has definitely started his career better than Shearer did.

This is a very Argentine viewpoint. They have a word for it (which I can't remember) that basically means cunning but not in the negative sense!

Do people see diving as being any different to doping?

The reason for both is to gain an unfair advantage.

Was a genuine question, both are forms of cheating to gain and unfair advantage but the attitudes towards both are very different.

Alternatively, you could just ignore me if it bores you

Doping is premeditated and gives the person a physical and unnatural advantage ahead of others.

Diving is instinctive and is usually punished by the referee or linesman at that time. Not always the case though.

Not according to Pochetino, he said learning to cheat was part of the training he did in the above quote, sounds premeditated to me.

I just find in interesting how people's attitudes differ towards the two, when the objective of both is the same. That's the only reason I made the comment.

Do the football authorities treat them the same?

I think the point is that the authorities admit to diving being a problem in the game and pay lip service to it.

I've never heard of players practicing diving before.

It's f**king pathetic.
