Big night for Spurs to see what level they are at.

Keep an eye on Eriksen!

Pretty good on that showing.

Poor enough tonight (imo).

And it's one thing to be outshone by Modric or Kroos, but Harry Winks?

Still, he's allowed one below par game per season.

Or til 15th November at least... Wink

Very good night for Spurs with Dortmund only managing a point in Cyprus.
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

Real were not at their best but Spurs were worthy of a draw. Real and Spurs could have scored more but both keepers made great saves. Soft Peno to give away which was annoying. With qualification secured Spurs can have a good go at Madrid in 2 weeks.

Eriksen missed a great chance.

I've noticed the Spurs bench in a couple of recent games, their squad is very thin. Was a big mistake by Leavy not to invest in some more squad players, they might regret come seasons end or when they have a few injuries.

They've strengthened their squad i think in the last few windows. They have a strong enough bench these days with the likes of Llorente, Sissoko there and have coped with injuries recently to the likes of Wanyama and Lamela

With everyone fit they'd have strong squad

I think the model Leavy is adopting is a strong squad of 16-18 top players with the back up from the youth teams.

To be fair Lamela, Wanyama and Dembele were all out injured. Alli was suspended.

Jansen was not named in the champ league squad as he is merde.

Even with losing the likes of Walker, the squad has definitely been strengthened. They have easily the best 2 options at LB or LWB in the league in Davies/Rose now. They have 2 good options at RB. Sanchez looks a really good centre half and has slotted in right away. Winks has come on leaps in the last year or so and is a good back up. Llorente was a massive signing. A brilliant squad player to have. I believe they would have won the title last season if they had Llorente instead of Jansen in the squad.

Still think Spurs don't get nearly the credit they should. Pochetino has built a serious side and squad there. If someone had said 6 months ago, Spurs would go away to Real Madrid and be starting the game without Walker, Rose, Wanyama, Dembele, Alli, Lamela, Son, I'm guessing most people would have said they'd be destroyed. The squad and team are so strong now that even with some of those players injured, left the club, or just bench options, Spurs could start without them and be well worth a point at the Bernabeu.

Agree Hans. Spurs squad has been strengthened over the past year or so. Its doubtful that their starting team has been, but their squad definitely has

Don't think their starting team needed that much strengthening anyway. They definitely needed much higher quality back ups though. If all the PL clubs could just play their best starting 11s all season, Spurs would be right there with City for the title imo. On paper they are the 2 best 11s.

Still can’t see spurs winning the league but am impressed with them. Kane is something else. Pity his dad didn’t instruct him to play for Ireland

I was at the game yesterday, very little atmosphere at Wembley which means it feels like a neutral venue. The scoreline flatter spurs. If you swapped Goal Keepers the scoreline and even the result would be different. We took the chances that were gifted to us.
Kane was brilliant again. Eriksen had a great game too.
Was impressed by Salah - Liverpools best player on the pitch.

At the start of the season I thought spurs would struggle to get top 4 but given how Liverpool/Arsenal and Chelsea have started they have a great chance of 3rd.

Cant see them winning the league at Wembley and I think Man City will put up a huge total : 90+ points.
