I am fond of the aul exercise just to give yourself permission to eat sh*te and drink.   We are basically hamsters on a wheel.  Running to stay still.

Oi thought you were off the sugar?

Any time anyone went on holiday they'd bring a bottle back and we'd polish them off too. Then we invested in a big plastic bin to make sangria, punch etc.
It wasn't just a couple of quiet beers, we'd get absolutely wrecked.

Always recall working in a small place in Sydney every Friday was a case of beer an hour before we finished to be polished off .

Same. Worked in the CBD on the 9th floor of a high-rise, and when we came back after lunch they always had a bbq and beers on the balcony ready to go for 3pm. Great way to end the week.

Surprised this thread hasn't been bumped in so long.
This afternoon since lunch has just dragged. Think the prospect of a lockdown no one seems to be phoning or emailing. Shame I have to be in the office and can't work from home.

Could be a thread in itself but wtf is wrong with Americans? Some prick put a meeting in my calendar for half 4 today. I appreciate it's middle of the day for him but I've got a pub to be going to and pints to be drinking my man.

What you should really be asking yourself is, why you left your calendar empty at such a crucial time thus allowing said American prick to ruin Friday afternoon pints.
