I forgot Ampadu’s dad played for us. I see he also works for Montreal Impact which will explain it. He’s clearly a massive prick.

Liam is clearly not going to play for us unless his career goes up in smoke á la Will Keane. Rory obviously didn't have any fond memories playing for us.

Always thought Delap was under utilised. Certainly should have been in more squads than he was, whatever about caps.

Rory delap played for us at u21 and senior level, could have maybe been capped more times if it wasn't for injury...

He named his son Liam, which is as irish as you can get and is rated very highly, would be awesome if there was a chance he would play for us.

However Rory is irish that was born in England so maybe that means you're less likely to want his son to play for us.

If he's not interested in turning up for an U-18 friendly match (which is about as non-committal as international football gets) I'd say the chances of getting him are very slim.
We're decent enough..

Young striker making debut for Man City? Southgate will be all over that like a rat up a drainpipe (whatever that means)

Especially when it only takes him 18 mins to score his first goal.

He should be sacked for gross competence.

Both his parents are Irish . Still has family in Letterkenny, that kid Liam looks like a serious operator, real shane he is probably going to stick with England as has potential to be a top top player.

It is what happens when the FAI devalue the Irish shirt over and over, when managers moan about the lack of players and on and on

Would anyone blame a lads advisors telling him to choose England when they look at the state of the FAI

It is honestly embarrassing we still rely on the good auld boys charm over anything resembling competence the last decade as football has completely changed.

On a brighter note Anthony Scully has looked sharp for Lincoln against Liverpool any time hes got the ball and just got himself a nice little assist.
