Can’t see him switching
Cant imagine many born outside the country would want to play for this team if they had a choice

Kelly will be back, I've a feeling there was more that went on between himself and O'Neill than was let on. We'll have to wait and see on Rice.

Well Rice family won't have to worry about MON turning up on his doorstep for impromptu tea meetings probing for 'hopeful' signs any more which would be to his relief no doubt.
I don't know if MON has ever even spoken to Kelly given he switched off his phone whenever MON rang.

I'd say loads of lads were put off by our managerial personalities and our style of play. In any case it always appeared that Martin O'Neill never chased any eligible player and only expected a player to come to him which doesn't work in this day and age.
The only way is up

Well afaik Kelly joined up with the squad for training once so I'd say something went a miss there

Ryan Johansson was tagged in and liked a post about O’Neill being sacked.

I wonder did he ever have any dealings with Martin?

Instagram, it appears that an Irish relative of his tagged him on the post about MON walking, Ryan liked the comment.

Clutching I know, but atleast he’s still paying attention to us.

Is Sheffield United's Jack O'Connell Irish-qualified?

24 year-old Liverpudlian central defender who has been a regular for them for two or three years now.

Captained England at under 19 level.

There has to be an Irish granny there somewhere.

There are quite a few players in and around the Northern Ireland squad that could still potentially switch.

Hazard, Burns, Lavery and possibly Paul Smyth (not sure if he played a qualifier).

Although to be honest i think once a player has played a full international we shouldnt chase them - it leaves a bad taste in the mouth (see Rice).

I think he is not qualified but his clubmate Ben Heneghan is.

There was talk about him being monitored a couple of years ago, don't know if anything came of it.
