Did you happen to spend Christmas day scouring through a database of english league 2 reserve team footballers to check if any had Irish sounding names?

Barry Roche is first choice keeper at Morecambe so he should b able to keep a eye on Maher. And fair play to u Conan for doing the research. Pity we don't play a couple of b international's so we could have a look at lads like them.

You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

His Twitter bio mentions Crumlin. Wouldn’t mind a pacey young striker in our u21s

Life long Celtic fan from the Crumlin area. Surely O'Neill must be keeping tabs on him . Would he be the first linfield player to play for us if he makes the swicth ?

If he was that big of an Ireland fan surely he would have let it be known he wanted to play/switch to us.

Well he's only played 1 game in England so he's sort of came from nowhere, Looks to have lightening pace and has an eye for goal. Exactly what we need. We will know soon enough though as I'd imagine he will get a call up for N.Ireland soon with there options very thin on the ground.

Any news on which way Danny Crowley is leaning? Although I suppose you could say he hasn't improved like everyone thought and doesn't deserve a call-up anytime soon.

Only 3 league starts all season for a team 14th out of 18 in a league of questionable quality.

I think we've better options right now.
