From what I've seen of Delap I'd question whether he'll be good enough for us, to be honest. Obviously he's a young lad and has time to develop, but he has an awful lot to work on. One of those players where physicality has given him an edge in underage football, but he'll need more than that to ever be more than a solid mid-rank Championship player.

I have no particular view on whether or not we should be chasing him, but it is worth noting that he is a full year younger than Parrott and as such is still U-20 eligible. It's far too early to be making calls on his potential ceiling, but it is an area of the pitch where we are gradually seeing a serious improvement in the level of competition for places.

Has anyone heard of Tommi O'Reilly, on the bench for Villa tonight.

Thought he was English. There is another O’Reilly there though who is Irish. Aaron.

That's odd. They have given him an Irish flag in the heading and also referenced him as Irish in the piece on him underneath. I'm sure I read somewhere previously that he wasn't qualified for us. Either he is, or that's a fairly massive error on the club's part.

Have seen his name mentioned before. He has been getting more consistent game time for Oxford in recent weeks. We already have a good few winger options at that level though. One to keep an eye on anyway.

No surprise there on McGlynn. U.S. be handing caps out like confetti on dual-eligibles.
Their policy is to cap-tie a huge number of dual eligibles by capping them in the wide array of technically competitive, but in reality easy and/or non-important games, like the Gold Cup, Nations League etc., often in matches against smaller Caribbean teams. |

He's been called up to the U20 WC not the senior team. Doesn't change anything right now
