As was said on here recently, lads with Irish mams tend to stick with us. Irish mammies

Why are they always defenders or bog standard midfielders ...........throw a weapon of a striker our way now and again (and I don't mean weapon in the Seanie Maquire sense) |

Going on nothing more than that video, the way he moves the ball in a couple of those clips is almost unreal. Worth watching how this one develops

Once he wants to represent for the right reasons and not just play underage to save himself a few flights.

If he ends up wanting to play for us permanently and is any good that’s as good as reason as any.

Did anyone ever find out whether O'Brien at Huddersfield is eligible? Fine player either way

Was checking out the opening game of the Bundesliga season to see if Conor Noss got on for Borussia Moenchengladback against Bayern (he didn't).
However, I could help but notice that an 18 year old from New York call Joseph Michael Scally was playing left-back for Borussia. Likely some Irish heritage there. Anyone heard of him or know that he's eligible? Has played underage for the U.S. unsurprisingly...

Will Keane off the mark with a late winner for Wigan today. If he can stay injury free I wouldn’t be surprised to see him have a big season. Very impressive since Christmas last year. Always had talent just horrible luck with injury’s

Peter Kioso seems to be making the step up to the Championship quite easily, getting great reviews for Luton tonight. Definitely someone we should be looking to bring into the setup given that he's a dual national, worth a look in a friendly at a minimum.

Val Adedokun's signed for Brentford. Going by Instagram, he's another we may be competing with Nigeria for.

Might need another valiant effort to keep a player away from the clutches of Nigeria.

If he wants to play for Nigeria, fair play to him and good luck.

Have we lost a player to Nigeria yet? I have it in my head there was one that went to them, but can't think of anyone specifically.
