That kind of summed up the last 10-15 years for us though didn’t it 😂 Reliant on granny rulers. That’s how you know the grassroots work is being done again now the influx of young talent born in 1998-2002 which is actual Irish born and developed talent.

Look that happens, even we get JJP for example and for talk sake he's a top player its worth ending up with egg in are face a few times, that will happen recruiting players. If 15 players say no its worth it if we get one player

When the 'At the moment i just want to concentrate on club football' line comes up from any dual international we know were f**ked and they have no interest in playing for us

An exception to that was Scott Hogan, who looked like getting a move to West Ham at the time and no doubt harboured dreams of playing for England. He settled for Ireland eventually when he realised that was as good as it was going to get for him career wise. Never impressed or scored in any of the international games he played.

Ah yeah, he is definitely suspected of having a bit of next Jamie Vardy syndrome for a bit but he came back from it.

Is anyone aware if Lewis O’Brien is eligible? Obviously one is jumping to conclusions based on his surname.

Huddersfield. Scored today and played very well. No idea on his eligibility but won't be world changing either way

He's English, from Colchester. No record I can see of him ever being linked with Ireland.

He’s also 22, and can only improve. We should be trying to throw the fish net out and see who’s there before refining the quality in the net.

I find it interesting you say that he can only improve. Is that all young players? Let Kenny get on with overhauling our squad then.

We should rename this thread '23 and me' and have TigerRoll go around football clubs and have players spit into a tube.

Central midfielder Greg Docherty, 24, is going great guns for Hull City at the moment and is likely to be playing Championship football next season. Flirted with the idea of representing us back in 2017 but I haven't heard much since. I wonder if Stephen Kenny is aware of him. Similar stats to Jack Taylor; 4 goals and 3 assists compared to 4 goals and 1 assist for Taylor.
