I see Kenny’s Kids is reporting it. Can’t be for real, can it? He dropped right off the radar.

His father is from Monaghan I think

It's him. Livescore and other update sites have him listed as John Patrick Finn. Great going for a 17-year-old.
Geremi has let Kilbane in here, cross comes out to Holland, 1:1!!

Never heard about this before today.

Steve Bruce's reasons for not declaring for the Eire.

"Graham Taylor famously resented even making Bruce the leader of an England B team that faced Malta – “For me you’d never be captain” – while the centre-half rejected “a sympathy cap” from Terry Venables at 35. His son Alex made up for it by representing both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland twice, the elder Bruce once admitting he considered an approach from the latter before turning it down because “we were going to be hindered as a club at Manchester United with the five-foreigners rule”. He retired with three Premier League titles, three FA Cups, two League Cups, a European Cup Winners’ Cup and a European Super Cup but fewer England caps than Keith Curle or Zat Knight."

Irish born Shane O'Neill scored the winner last night for Seattle in the MLS quarter-finals  one we could look at and even use as backup.

He wasn't good enough for the English fourth division.

So he’s about 55 , we’re clutching at straws now.

John-Joe Finn traveling with the Getafe squad again today. Could end up on the bench.

Not much media coverage, but the FAI is aware according to Kenny’s Kids at least
You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

I see Ian Harte put something on twitter that his client, Niall Huggins, has signed a contract with Leeds. Seems to be a Welsh underage International. Surely and Irish parent there

An English surname of Norman-French origin according to Google.

John-Joe Finn on the bench again for Getafe this afternoon.

I hope he turns out better than John-Joe O'Toole.

Thats an incredible achievement for him, you've got to be technically good to play in la liga and for such a young lad...

Do we know anything more about him? I believe he's a forward? Do we know where he is in terms of playing for ireland.
