I've no problem with English born players playing for us especially one who has already played for us underage. We have Alan Judge, Eunan O'Kane, Harry Arter etc who have a grand total of 1 cap between them and these 3 are the guys we should be looking at before hinting at calling up a young lad with 5 games in The Championship...... [/QUOTE] Agreed Green Devil. I've no issue calling up anyone from anywhere but there's a lot in front of him for a start. And I don't believe it would be fair or good for our existing underage squads that we go chasing a lad who's left our underage set up for something they perceive to be better. We have to be careful with this as we really could end up being "Englund B" . |

Johnny Giles. Ireland Mick McCarthy, Stephen Staunton Cascarino Tony Galvin, Niall Quinn Packie doesn't let em in North of Ireland South of Ireland Only one can go |

He hasn't even played 10 matches in The Championship lets not get ahead of ourselves. Lets call a spade a spade the Irish under 21 squad would be more suitable for him at the moment.

Exactly, some people act like it's an insult to their brave Republican ancestors when we ask an English-born guy if he'd like to play for us. In truth it's a no-lose situation, if they say yes that's great and if they say no then it's no skin off our back. There is literally no logical downside whatsoever to asking, it cost's us nothing whatever their answer is. |

He's 20 years old. He's not too old to progress to a higher age group with England.
It would be an utter waste of time calling him up at any level if he is not committed. Is it any wonder we rightly piss off other countries fans sometimes? "He hasn't played for England in 6 months so our FAI should give him a call".. That kind of thing doesn't reflect well on any party. I wouldn't want one of our players having that attitude if he wasn't getting selected for our U-19's or U-21's. Nor our organisation when it comes to other countries players. If a player shows the interest or desire to play for us like a Gibson, Wilson or McClean that is completely different.

Linked with Bournemouth also, it'd be worth trying to get him reintroduced to our underage setup.

I believe Jordan Graham was Wolves player of the month for November, after about three games. Receiving a lot of praise http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2015/12/14/jordan-graham-enjoying-life-in-wolverhampton-wanderers-first-tea/

There's only one way we get him back and it isn't confluent with upward career progression.

Jordan Graham at Wolves switched to England at under 17 level after playing for us first. 20 now and breaking into the first team. Lots of promise. Let's get him back

Overzealous reporting from John Fallon, yet again, perhaps? The same lad that reported Towell was on the verge of a switch to Brighton. Sure the same thing was said about Cardiff and their manager clearly didn't fancy him.

Crowley is back playing for England again recently. Thats after talking to the FAI and talking to Martin O'Neill. So I wouldn't be too optimistic.

Do you guys really have no shame?
Why not concentrate on your own youngsters? Surely there must be young ROI players out there? Are you really that desperate?
