Yes it was really interesting. Even Eoin McDevitt seemed
surprised by the angle it took and how strong Dumphy's
views were.

The Second Captain's show has been very good the last
weeks. McDevitt and Early seem refocused and very well
prepared.

Dunphy was talking crap about how he never had ant-english sentiments & how there was an apartheid on dublin working class lads playing soccer DisapproveDisapprove    Yet he wore a black armband over Bloody Sunday.

A black armband unless I'm mistaken is worn as a mark of respect to the dead. It is not a tool to express political viewpoints or to express as you suggest and anti English sentiment.

Bloody Sunday is a tad closer to home than Vietnam. Loads of people endorsed Martin are they all anti English too? I voted for him. I'm not anti English per say, yes I love to see them beat in sport and and enjoy the banter, but I know loads of English people, rode a few of their birds too.

Daft statement to link paying respect to the dead with anti English sentiment.

Lets be honest here 99% of irish people have a resentment toward england. As Sham said he wants them beaten at sport! Would you support england sham against other teams sham?

I want them beaten in sport because they are our neighbours, the same way I wanted my local GAA team to beat the local rivals or Mons to beat Dundalk in LOI, doesn't mean I hate them. On supporting them or other teams, I support Ireland. I don't support other teams. There's a big difference in wanting a team to be beat as opposed to actively supporting whoever they're playing. I used the sporting reference as an example. You're trying to twist it now because you know your comment was daft.

If Dunphy is anti English or whatever, him wearing a black armband to mark what was one of the worst atrocities in our troubled past does not prove it.
