He isn't a regular in a poor Hull team, any team he goes to will be lower end of the Championship rather than a side that gets promoted to the premiership

Wouldn't surprise me if he ended up in League 1 or SPL. Certainly won't be going to a premier league or top championship team.

A few weeks ago he was a regular, and that's also what he has been for the majority of his 6 year spell there. The nature of a struggling team is that they chop and change incessantly in the hope of turning their fortunes around. Meyler invariably finds his way back into the picture, probably because he's one of their most reliable performers.

Last 3 seasons including this one he has played 69 out of 118 league games, 26 of those appearances off the bench, he has been a squad player not a regular.

14 starts and 7 sub appearances this season from 34 games is not a regular. If Mick doesn't sign him for Ipswich he will struggle get a mid-table championship club.

I know people overrate our players but definitely good enough for a Championship team

It would be somewhat humorous if he was to take Kelly's place in the side

Is Meyler injured or just out of favour at Reading? He's been completely excluded from their last few squads yet he's been included in ours for Wales/Denmark?

He went back injured after the games in September which kept him out when he went back. Not heard anything recently.

Edit: found this from yesterday
A hamstring injury has kept Meyler out of club action in recent weeks and he faces a race to be fit for Ireland’s Nations League clashes with Denmark, on October 13, and Wales, on October 16.

Meyler and McShane seem to have fallen out with Clement at Reading. They aren't even making the bench anymore, despite McShane being club captain.
