i know it was an awful result for sunderland BUT Steve Bruce never subbed meyler, he subbed all the lads around him like Malbranque and co... Meyler has been described very highly by bruce

Davey's taken a lot of abuse since his red card from both Sunderland fan and non-Sunderland fans on his facebook page and creditt to him he's handled it exceptionally.

how did Meyler go from anonymous again Armenia (he was subbed at half time) to performing competently against the likes of Barry and Vieira??

Thinking that meself. Wasnt the first time i seen him play poorly for the 21s either so im surprised by what he's done at Sunderland. Obviously Bruce gets the best out of him....unlike Don.
