WB you go to many of the reserve games

about 8/9 a season a good night out. You can hear what the players are saying a bit of grass roots footy quality stuff.
TJ Doyles,Sunderland probably the best Irish pub in the world.

Sunderland goal: Irish debutant David Meyler slips a fine pass through to Darren Bent, who has timed his run perfectly and keeps his cool to slot past Paul Robinson in the Blackburn goal. Can they hang on to it this time?

it said a few minutes later on the BBC site it wasn't Meyler

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce was pleased with David Meyler on his full debut in their 2-2 draw at Blackburn Rovers.

The former Cork City midfielder won his chance thanks to a raft of injuries to Bruce's midfield.

"Young David Meyler did very well and Daryl Murphy came in, did well and created a goal. I'm pleased for them," Bruce told safc.com.

"David did very, very well. He's been chomping at the bit waiting for his chance and he was terrific today."

I was at the game and David Meyler had a fine match.

The Murph had his moments as well. Setting up Benty for the first goal and crossing for the same player  @ the death which could have ended up being the winner but for a great interception on Bent.
