I think he just takes the piss a bit with the interviewers. Hes dosent need to do it, funny and all but he could be a little more courteous in his interviews IMO.

They were speaking yesterday on OTB about this and someone mentioned how he's done interviews in the past in a robot voice for his own amusement LOL

How is the standard terrible? Ever played snooker to any sort of decent level? These guys are geniuses on a table.

It was a good pastime when I was younger.

It’s not a Sport though.

There are all sorts of sports in the Olympics that you could put in the same bracket. Why do you class them as pastimes? Lots of people have swimming pools, so by that logic any type of swimming and diving must be a past time.
It would damage this forums' reputation

Sport is a pastime for most people

If you're playing anything professionally or an elite basis like top level GAA it's not a pastime

Snooker is not a pastime for Mark Selby, darts is not a pastime for top level, world class, multiple times world professional champions such as Wolfie Adams and Scott Waites

Association football is very much a pastime for the lads on the Fifteen Acres on a Sunday morning

Hes done all sorts on interviews. He went through a stage where he only spoke in an aussie accent a while back LOL

Anthony McGill is one frame away from the final

But conversely, he's also two frames from semi-final defeat to Kyren Wilson

New BBC snooker commentator Dave Farrar sure loves the schmaltz

He's clearly modelled himself on whispering Ted Lowe

Haven't watched much BBC coverage this year but it seems the regulars like Dennis Taylor and John Virgo may be off the scene

Anto with a chance

The last 32 points have been fouls by McGill with not a ball potted

39 points now

He's just potted the black - but that's a foul too

43 points in fouls and McGill needs a snooker

Unreal

And McGill gets the foul back immediately - Wilson goes in off!

Wilson has just potted the white straight into the middle pocket without touching any other ball!

Another in off!

Wilson 90 McGill 60

35 left on the table

Over 20 minutes since a ball was potted without being a foul
