Seeing as its a one-off I said I'd start a thread on Saturdays race. Thought also the tipping thread wasn't the place for it.
What are people's opinions on it? I backed 2 horses yesterday for it as i was worried they'll lose value during the week, particularly Colbert station as I reckon tony McCoy might end up on him.
Always back 3 horses in the race, there's nothing like it from a spectators point of view and I sure horse and jockey would think the same.
My 3 are the above, Chicago grey and cappa bleu.

Nice, im not on my own
Read a good article yesterday outlining what should be looked for in a winner.
And it basically said that Neptune colognes defied everything last year to win!

Cappa Bleu for me as well, Evan Williams has placed in the last 4 nationals.

Might back him next week and wait on the day to back my other selections. Either way I'll be looking to back the lower weights.

keep her lit, I always enjoyed that saying for some reason.
Ya always liked Chicago grey as a capall and he'l be that bit easier to spot in the heavy traffic leading to fence 1!
Favourite is gone very skinny now at 13/2
Not that I'm a genius but I'd be suggesting to anyone looking to do Colbert station to do him ASAP as if McCoy plumps for him he'l be backed and his price will drop IMO.

Instead of locking threads, bumping old threads just make this the Aintree 2013 thread Thumbs Up

Silviniaco Conti has to be a good thing imo on thursday in the Bowl chase currently 5/6

Always like the Aintree Hurdle and looks to be a tough one this year

Is Flemenstar still lining up in the Melling chase? That race has some quality entrants in it escpecially Sprinter Sacre in there Thumbs Up

All the papers and news channels getting a bee in their bonnets this year about horse welfare and horses dying etc. Fookin do-gooders won't be happy until all the enjoyment is taken out of it.
