Neymar was piss poor tonight. Should have been subbed off before the penalty.
A joke that Messi handed it over. Even Neymars run up was a joke. 3-1. Second leg won't be easy but it's a healty lead. |

So Barcelona v Athletic Bilbao is the final on May 30th.
Villarreal made a good game of the second leg until they had a player sent off for a horrible tackle on Neymar. After that Barcelona controlled it and scored the 2 goals to give them a 3-1 win. Didn't watch much of the other game but from what I seen in the first half, Bilbao were pretty good! Both teams want the final in the Bernabeu. Meeting will be held next week on the venue. Final will be played in Valencia as Madrid dont want it at the Bernabeu and their is an ACDC concert at the Valderon on the night is scheduled for.
An Espanyol/Barcelona final would have been interesting but RCDE simply didnt show up in the semi final second leg. Barcelona have beaten Athletic quite easily in 2 recent finals and unless Athletic raise their game its hard to see anything different this time, Aduriz could cause them problems though, sort of player Barcelona hate playing against and Valverde is a decent coach

Amazing that the final is being held at the Nou Camp.
Both clubs couldn't agree on the venue so it was passed over for a vote, the federation voted in favour of the Nou Camp since its the biggest. Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao fans will receive 39k tickets each and the federation will get 20k tickets. Should be a great occasion. Bilbao are happy with the venue. Should think back to Real Madrid losing at home in the Copa final. And Bayern losing at home in the CL final. Can't see Barcelona losing this though. |

Final is on Saturday. Kick off 8.30 Irish time.
Being played in the Nou Camp but Barcelona are the away team. They will wear their away kit and be in the away changing room. La Liga  Copa del Rey Champions League. I think they will win the treble. |
