With the vast array of second generation Irish that have played for us over they years I was wondering who where the ones that we missed out on. Off the top of my head I can think of, 1.Wayne Rooney 2.Rio Ferdinand 3.Anton Ferdinand 4.Jamie O'Hara 5.Kevin Nolan 6.Kieran Richardson 7.Tim Cahill 8.Lucas Neill * 9.Lee Trundle 10.Landon Donovan 11.Darren Fletcher 12.Kevin Keegan 13. 14. 15. 16. 17. 18. * Neill has ancestors from Co.Down so I don't know what the story is there. Can people add names to the list if they think of any...

Both Martin Keown's parents were Irish.
Steve Bruce - parent(s) are from the North. Personally I want to see Irish people playing for Ireland not some player looking to further their career. |
