I understand the view of just wanting players that are from Ireland to play , instead of lads wanting to further there career.
But that begs the question : at what cost ? maybe not cost but missed opportunity. Would you take not qualifying for next 3 tments or someone Michu discovering he has an Irigh granfather and we get to the world Cup quarter finals ? Just need to ask because you always get the lads who will say they want it just Irish, but presented with better what would they chose ?
