In The Jolly Boys Outing. Del and Mike bump into Mike's old rival in the toilets in the Whitbread. He tells them he now owns a nightclub in Margate were upon Del tells him they're on a beano to Margate and if he gives them a few complementaries he'll bring the rest of them down to the club. Yet they would have been heading home only for the bus blowing up and the rail strike Confused

Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

So you're seriously suggesting OFAH is somehow lacking in verisimilitude?

You mean your life isn't in timelapse and doesn't feature a laughter track?

Probably been mentioned before, but has anyone ever noticed the similarity in storyline between the 2002 OFAH Christmas special 'Strangers on the Shore' and the One Foot in the Grave Christmas special from '97 'Endgame'?

Actually no, otherwise I wouldn't have mentioned it. But I had assumed it had been brought up before.

Now, time to practice your penalties!

Plot Hole #4287

In the episode Health Competition where Rodney goes it alone with Mickey Pearce they go to the auction and were going to bid for the cut glass goblets until they decided to go for the agricultural machinery.  Mickey tells Rodney to bid for the goblets once the bidding starts but Rodney tells him they will wait for the agricultural machinery instead because they think Del is after them because of his warning that they were scrap metal.

So it cuts to the next scene where they are looking at the rubbish they bought and Del has the cut glass goblets and they ask what did he get.  Yet they were at the auction and would have seen Del bidding for them because the auction for the goblets was before the lawnmower engines.

Sullivan you plonker!!!!!!!!!!

In 'watching the girls go by', they have censored the line when Del says some of his ex girlfriend's are dead. I don't know how that's offended someone.

Plot Hole #67,974

In the episode 'The Second Time Around' with Pauline grandad tells Rodney Del used to be religious and used to give the church a good few quid towards their new roof, seeing how he nicked the old one.

Fast forward in time to the Miracle of Peckham episode when Albert is in the series and Del buys the nicked lead off the roof of the church and then raises money to fix the hole int he roof and for the hospice.

I'm sure the actor who plays in the vicar in video nasty also player a worker in the auctioneers when Rodney bought the lawnmower engines.

In the episode where Rodney wins the jumbo flakes comp and they go to Spain. At the end they win the Spanish lotto but can't claim the money because Rodney's name is on the ticket and they can't prove he's of legal age to vote.
Aside from the fact that there's nowhere requires you to put your name on a lottery ticket,..... could they not have returned home, got proper identification and then returned to Spain to claim the money?

Open to correction on this but pretty sure dates of birth were stamped in ink so it could be done quite easily.

Sure Cascarino did it to secure a longer contract at either Marseilles or Nancy

Anyone could edit an old Irish green passport. There was more details in them that have been replaced by the biometrics.  The UK likely the same.
